Superior is a small historical copper mining town
founded in 1882 located on the fringe of the Phoenix metropolitan area
and now on the path of progress to become the next place to be. Superior
is special to my family. Four generations: one great grandmother, two
grandmothers, and two grandfathers are interred in Superior. I as my mom
were born and raised in Superior. I went to High School in Globe and
after the US Army, I went to work underground at Magma Copper Company
for one year returning three summers in between school. Someday my dad,
mom and I will join other family members in the Superior cemetery.
